Muhiy-ud-Deen- Muhyi’d-Din:
“Reviver of the Religion.” It is widely acknowledged by historians, non-Muslim as well as Muslim, that Shaiekh Saiyyid Abdul Qaadir Jeelaani (Rahmatul laah Alaieh) displayed great courage in reaffirming the traditional teachings of Islaam, in an era when sectarianism was rife, and when materialistic and rationalistic tendencies were predominant in all sections of society.
Al-Ghaus al-A'zam:
“The Supreme Helper”
Ghaus is an Arabic word meaning:
A cry for aid or assistance.
Aid, help, relief; deliverance from adversity.
The chief of the Saints, who is empowered by Allaah Ta'aalaa to bring support to suffering humanity, in response to His creatures’ cry for help in times of extreme adversity.
Sultaan ul-Auliyaa’:
“The King of the Saints.”
Radi Allaahu ‘Anhu:
“May Allaah Ta'aalaa be well pleased with him!”
